I continue receiving chair pictures from people and I love to post them here. This one is from Architectural Salvage here in Greensboro NC. The chair is a Thonet #18 with what appears to be the leather seat and a lot of character. I love these old chairs, they were so mass-produced and now they are getting harder to find. Cleaned up these chairs will fit with almost any decor. Timeless, simplistic design for the masses is where my design eye lies.

Chair CardsThis blog was started to track the exceptional work by the students of UNCG in the Interior Architectural Design Program. Our History 221 and 222 classes use these cards to help familiarize us with historically significant design and designers. The initial purpose is for the students, however, it will remain for comments and use by anyone interested in design. - Brian - BSPeck@uncg.edu
