Ghost Chair (Philippe Stark)

palazzo Medici, Firenze

Philippe Stark’s Ghost chair of 2001 is inspired by the Louis XVI style.  Typically show singly or a few around a table, obviously works well in a group.  This reminds me of the. St. Bartholomew’s Church by QUBUS in the village of Chodovice, Eastern Bohemia

In any of the above examples, putting a beautiful form in multiples works great.  The forms and materials create a new form as a mass.
