This year we have expaned our list to 100 chairs including the original 50. The Painted hardwood chair “Nothing Continues to Happen” is a work by Howard Meister and was never put into production. It is a work of art and part of the perminant collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In the Fall of 2010 a Photo of the chair was on display at theGuggenheim as part of Luis Jacobs work.

Chair CardsThis blog was started to track the exceptional work by the students of UNCG in the Interior Architectural Design Program. Our History 221 and 222 classes use these cards to help familiarize us with historically significant design and designers. The initial purpose is for the students, however, it will remain for comments and use by anyone interested in design. - Brian - BSPeck@uncg.edu
